Week 19 on The Scramble Tour sponsored by Miller Light brought 18 players to Cookeville Golf Club. Ralph Henley and Justin Jackson scored 26 points on 5 pars and 4 birdies to take the win using the modified Stableford system implemented by the Tour. The winning team for the August 31 scramble consisted of (L-R): Tim Styer, Rich Robinson, Shane Mccloud, Bill Schaffner. The winners scored 7 under par. Schaffner also won the closest to the pin prize on # 3.

Brandy Winston won closest to the hole prize on # 9 at Belle Acres with a shot to 91 inches.

Posting a score of 7 under gave the team of Jim McGrady, Donnie Loftis, Ken Haynes and Brian Rogers the win of the ABCD Wednesday scramble on this date. Haynes helped out with a great shot of just 16 inches from the pin to win a closest to the pin prize.

The Scramble Tour Sponsored by Miller Light played here for the final time in the 2010 season with Michael Benson and Shane McCloud taking the top honors. The pair scored 26 points on the Tour’s modified Stableford scoring system. McCloud maintained his points lead and Benson gained two spots in the standings.
This was the 16th round for the 2010 Tour this season. Only the best 16 round scores count toward the championship giving players a chance to improve their position during the final three scheduled rounds. The remaining schedule and stats, and standings can be seen at tour.uppercumberlandgolf.com.

The White Plains golf course will not be ready for open play on Saturday, August 28, 2010 until approximately 1 pm. We have two groups going off at 8 am and they will take up the entire golf course!!!

Larry Moores win closest to pin with a shot to 106 inches.

Larry Moores wins closest to the pin prize and is a member of the winning team after completion of play of the ABCD scramble. His shot to #9 was measured at 106 inches and the team posted an 8 under score to take the win.
