L_R: Neil Scalf, Lee Campbell

L-R: Neil Scalf, Lee Campbell

COOKEVILLE – Lee Campbell and Neil Scalf were the winners of week two play in the Scramble Tour sponsored by Miller Lite. The pair scored 20 points, just one ahead of the team of Michael Benson and Chris Farris. The winners were each awarded a certificate good for nine holes of play at this week’s host, White Plains Golf Course. For complete scoring click here.

Harold Penley was the “odd man out” this week and gets credit for 20 points as the odd man gets the same as the highest team score for the week. Harold actually earned the same 20 points all by himself. The usual format is a draw for two man teams and a best ball scramble using a modified Stableford scoring system: 1 point for bogey, 2 for a par, 4 for a birdie, and 8 for an eagle.

The Scramble Tour plays each Wednesday with a 5 p.m. tee time and rotates (tours) among the courses in Putnam County, TN. The May 13th round is scheduled to be played at Southern Hills.
