A two way tie from among ten teams resulted in a slit of the prize pot this week.

(from left): Ken Haynes, Lee Thomson, Zach Sullivan and Mike DeLapp score 9 under to tie for first.

Also scoring nine under to take a share of first place were form left: Rob Lollar, Lidell Medley, Tony Myers and Woody VanStratum.

Johnny Painter wins at the number 6 hole with a shot to 6 feet.

Firing to just 4 feet from the pin was Mike DeLapp to take the closest to the pin prize at #9

Despite misting rain and cool temperatures seven teams vied for the win resulting in a tie at 5 under.

Tim Bowman, Kevin Hinson, Roger Nelson and Clay Barstad with 5-Under

Ed Black, Marty Scantland, Kevin Shelton and Jason Clark also with 5-Under

Closest to the hole on # 6 was Jonathan Parker.

Marty Scantland,s shot was closest to the hole on # 9 at 15 ft.

Scramble Tour at Southern Hills

Shane McCloud teamed with Bob Dillon (not pictured) to win the final regular season play at Southern Hills.

Playing the last regular season round at Southern Hills Country Club of the Scramble Tour sponsored by MIller Light, Shane McCloud and Bob Dillon (not pictured) teamed to score 33 points on the strength of an eagle (8 pts.), 5 birdies (20 pts.), 2 pars (4 pts.) and 1 bogey (1 pt.) and take the win. Their nearest competitors, Lee Campbell and Bill Hicks scored 23 points. Southern Hills provided a prize for each player.The win extended McCloud’s lead in the season point chase and vaulted Dillon into 6th place in total points. The league plays a twenty week season counting a player’s best 16 rounds plus the Championship round toward determining a season champion. This year’s Championship round will be played September 18 at Cookeville Golf Club.

40 Players vied for top honors at Southern Hills Thursday, August 18 and Shelia Shaw joined three Watts for an electrifying 8 under win.
