Jack Frost Tournament A Cool Success

White Plains Golf Course hosted its first annual winter time tournament. Dubbed the “Jack Frost” and played on January 29, 2011 the 108 participants saw no frost but were treated to 50 – 60 degree whether resulting in a great day for golf. The format was two-man scramble and the 49 teams were anxious to get play underway after the cold and snowy weather experienced during the preceding two months.

The field was flighted into 5 groups with first and second places taking home prizes.

  • 1st Blake Garrison and Justin Hill  – 67
  • 2nd Tim Hess and Tom Wilson – 68

3rd Flight

  • 1st Harry McGugin and Ralph Henley – 70
  • 2nd Mike Davidson and Jeff Peek – 70 (Picture not available)

4th Flight

  • 1st Ray Wear and Chad Davis – 73
  • 2nd Bob Weaver and Lee Campbell – 73

5th Flight

  • 1st Bobby Randolph and Jerry Randolph – 78 (Picture not available)
  • 2nd Scott Wagner and Tate Thornton – 78
