Jack Frost Tournament A Cool Success
White Plains Golf Course hosted its first annual winter time tournament. Dubbed the “Jack Frost” and played on January 29, 2011 the 108 participants saw no frost but were treated to 50 – 60 degree whether resulting in a great day for golf. The format was two-man scramble and the 49 teams were anxious to get play underway after the cold and snowy weather experienced during the preceding two months.
The field was flighted into 5 groups with first and second places taking home prizes.

- 2nd place in the second flight was taken by (l-r) Tim Hess and Tom Wilson scoring 68.
- Harry McGugin and Ralph Henley(not pictured) win 1st place, 3rd flight with a 2 under par 70
- (l-r)Ray Wear and Chad Davis finish at 73 to take the first place prize in the 4th flight
- (l-r): Bob Weaver and Lee Campbell win second place of the fourth flight after a score card play-off
- Scott Wagner(l) and Tate Thornton(Not pictured) win 2nd prize in the fifth flight with 78
