Two Eagles Help Win Scramble Tour Week 8
Weaver(L) and Henley team for 30 points

The team of Ralph Henley and Bob Weaver made two eagles, two birdies, and two pars in overcoming a “no score” hole during the 9 hole round and scored 30 points to win the event. The winners were awarded a prize by host Ironwood Golf Course. Two other teams posted 24 points to tie for second. The tour plays next at Cookeville Golf Club. Tee time is 5 p.m.
The win put Henley in the lead for the season championship with a 6 point margin over Harold Penley. The Scramble Tour sponsored by Miller Light uses a modified Stableford scoring system adding each players weekly scores to determine a season champion.
