Scramble Tour Heads to Final at CGC

The Scramble Tour, Sponsored by Miller Light played its final regular season round here with Shane McCloud and Bryan Lynchard topping the field at 30 points. Two other teams, Dustin Reels with Justin Jackson and Ralph Henley with Bob Weaver, tallied 24 to tie for second place. All the other scores can be seen here.
The Tour will play its 18 hole final round at Cookeville Golf Club on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2010 at 1 p.m. Shane McCloud is the current points leader. Counting just the best 16 of the 19 rounds played McCloud has a 22 point lead on second place Harold Penley. Penley’s hold on second is tenuous adn could be taken by Ralph Henley who is only 2 points back. Fourth thru 6th places are separated by just 7 points with Bob weaver in 4th and Michael Benson hanging on to 5th 1 point behind. Lee Campbell is only 6 behind Benson making the final round an important scoring opportunity for all.
The play at Cookeville Golf Club will be followed by a combined awards presentation and meal.
