Benson, Penley Win Opening Round Scramble Tour

The Scramble Tour sponsored by Miller Light opened its 2010 season this past Wednesday, April 28th and was hosted by Southern Hills Country Club. 16 players began the quest for the season championship. Harold Penley (L) and Michael Benson won the initial round of the 20 week Tour season with a score of 27 on the modified Stableford system used by the Tour and were awarded prizes courtesy of Southern Hills. All of the scores for the week can be seen here and the full statistics are available on the Leader Board.
Lee Campbell won the door prize, 9 holes of play at Southern Hills. The second round is hosted by Belle Acres Golf Course on Wednesday the 5th of May.
