Youth Golf Camp at Ironwood Off to Good Start

IRONWOOD GOLF COURSE - The Putnam County Parks & Recreation Department’s Junior Clinic for ages 6 – 8 started Tuesday July 7, 2009 with 33 youngsters taking instruction in golf etiquette and safety, club types, and swing methods. The camp will continue on Wednesday at 8 a.m. and then will finish with a tournament on Thursday. Children 6-8 years old may join the group on Wednesday morning.
