White Plains to Host Ladies Golf Clinic
White Plains Golf Course will host a Ladies Golf Clinic beginning Monday Sept 14th and continuing each Monday for six weeks. The clinic will be conducted from 9-10:30 each morning. The cost is $90 for the six week session. The clinic is limited to 12 participants and participation is on a first PAID basis. Participants will be asked to purchase range balls at least once during the 6 weeks at a cost of $5.00. Ladies should have clubs but do not have to have experience as a golfer. The clinic will be conducted by Karen McMeekin, an LPGA Class A teaching professional. Karen joined the LPGA in 1999. She gained experience in golf business and teaching at public and private coureses in Florida, South Carolina, New Jersey and for the past 5 years in Crossville, TN. She has taught at LPGA Junior camps, offers individual lessons and teaches a golf class at Roane State Community College. Formerly an elementary physical education instructor she now operates Precision Golf at Four Seasons Par 3 golf course and driving range near Fairfield Glade, TN. Karen also fits and builds custom clubs.
