White Plains To Host Scramble Tour

The second round of the 16 week Scramble Tour sponsored by Miller Lite will be played at White Plains Golf Course on Wednesday May, 6, 2009 with a 5 p.m. tee time. New players may join the tour at White Plains and still compete for the season title. The Tour scores the 12 best weeks of each player to determine the champion.

Four players are tied for the season championship lead with 17 points each after opening round play at Ironwood. Four other players are within 4 points of the lead in the early season tally. A modified Stableford system is used giving 1 point for a bogey, 2 for a par, 4 is the score for a birdie and an eagle earns the team 8 points.
