Week 11 on the Scramble Tour

WHITE PLAINS GOLF COURSE – The team of Lee Campbell and Harold Penley won the 11th week’s play on the Scramble Tour sponsored by Miller Light. Campbell and Penley scored 26 points by making 4 birdies and 5 pars on the front nine here. Each of the winners was presented, by the host course, a certificate for nine holes of play. Three other teams tied at 24 points each and a third scored 23 making it one of the most competitive weeks of play on the tour.
The Tour plays next Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Ironwood with a 5 p.m. tee time. The tour players voted to extend the season by another 4 weeks so there is still plenty of time for new players come to join the Tour. Come to Ironwood and get in on the fun. The Scramble Tour rotates play among the Cookeville, TN area courses each Wednesday evening and keeps a season long points total to determine a champion.
