Large Field of Golfers for Thursday Couples

SOUTHERN HILLS – 18 Foursome competed for top honors during the Thursday Mixed Couples play at Southern Hills Golf Course. Two foursomes on each hole made the front nine packed with action. Winning with a 7 under score were Lewis and Jennifer Wheeler , Alyssa Harold and Matt Evans. Alyssa’s closest to the hole win on # 3 was a big help t the team as it led to a birdie.

Five other teams tied at 6-Under with a Scorecard playoff determining 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place. Numerous door prizes and drawings were dispersed to the many remaining players.

This weeks famous Southern Hills Lemon Awards earned by the last place winners went to (l-r) Jr. Minnear, Rhonda Folio, and Charlotte and Jim Harris coming in at PAR.
